COOCI Associates was formed on 6 July 2009. At the time we recognised the importance of designing an organisation that was relevant and responsive to the needs of our individual clients, their representatives and our case managers. We have continued to embrace this philosophy.
Our experienced team provides professional and effective assessment and case management services to adults, children and young people who have experienced catastrophic injury.
We are a dedicated team of health and social care professionals who have managed many catastrophic cases where Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) or Major Limb Amputation are typically involved. It is through our deep understanding of both the legal system and medical profession that we can provide expert and qualified case management services. We work closely with professionals to build lasting relationships that ensure a positive outcome for our clients.
We specialise in case management services for highly complex cases, working with both adults and children, helping clients and families whose lives have been significantly changed through personal injury or clinical negligence. We achieve this by co-ordinating timely rehabilitation opportunities that facilitate life and living for people who have experienced a change in their health and social status.
A team approach is essential to everything we do. It allows us to be flexible and adaptable.
Our team of professional, experienced, friendly and approachable case managers come from a range of relevant backgrounds with a full spectrum of requisite skills and knowledge.
At COOCI Associates we recognise the value of ongoing training and development and therefore invest in our staff to ensure they have access to a range of learning opportunities.
A proactive and dedicated office team also supports all of our case managers and assistant case managers.
This means that COOCI Associates are able to deliver high quality, cost-effective services to our clients.
“Case management is a collaborative process, which assesses, plans, implements, co-ordinates monitors and evaluates the options and services required to meet an individual’s health and wellbeing, education and/or occupational needs, using communication and available resources to promote quality, cost effective and safe outcomes.” – www.BABICM.org
